Hello! I am Amruta Gajjar. I am a yoga practitioner and certified ashtanga yoga teacher 500+ RYT (Yoga Alliance) trained with therapy based yoga.

YogAm is my passion project and I am trained to help people manage health issues with therapy based yoga. What drives me to teach yoga is my experience of healing myself through yoga from a lifestyle auto-immune disease called Psoariasis. I want to help people live a healthy and disease free life. I have been practising and teaching yoga for over more than 3 years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching yoga to my students.

"Practice what you preach", that's what I follow as a teacher. I make sure I evolve with each class and teach new techniques that I learn and discover in my yoga practice. I keep myself updated with new styles, ideas and approaches. Along with being a good teacher, I always focus on being a good student which in turn helps me improve my skills.

Everybody is different and takes their own time to reach their goals. However, the journey becomes all the more amazing when you enjoy it while reaching your goals so rest assured, we make sure you enjoy every single class with us!

There's no single approach that I generalise for everyone, I make sure to attend each and every student and work with them to cater their needs individually. Every student has different strengths and struggles, I help them reach their goals by giving them modifications/advancements accordingly. I make sure my students are safe, happy and are enjoying their yoga practice.

At the end of the day, the smile on student's face is all worth it. :)
